Media literacy is...
Media literacy is an expanded information and communication skill that is responsive to the changing nature of information in our society. It addresses the skills students need to be taught in school, the competencies citizens must have as we consume information in our homes and living rooms, and the abilities workers must have as we meet the challenges of a global economy. -http://www.kn.pacbell.com/wired/21stcent/media.html

This is the back of a paper cup you get at subway with your meal. This is a Name Calling technique, because it shows you

because Mcdonalds has a lot of food that is bad for you, so it makes their food look even better. It also uses Rhetorical
Questions. This is because they are telling you if you eat Mcdonalds you will get fat, so they ask would you rather eat
Mcdonalds and get fat? or Subway and stay healthy?
